Angry

Just a link to some of the old arguments...

It is obvious that T & D doesn't make for a happy workforce and people will leave as a result! New T & D with more money will still not be a fair system and people will still walk.

Those with their heads in the sand who are happy with their lot should take a good look at what is on offer, then ask why an ATCO T & D (or any other ATCO) should feel the need to stay with NATS.

Thumbs down

Moving off the T&D scale on first validation only really benefits airport located ATCOs, particularly units with tower/ground only (possible exception EGLL?).

So, you are rewarded for early validation but poor sods sent to LATCC who don't validate within 2 years through no fault of their own, march time on the scale.

OK, so you get pay back dated, but doesn't really help when you're trying to settle into the most expensive city in the UK.

Further to this, the students being posted to LATCC now are unlikely to validate before Swanick 'O' date and will therefore be hanging around on T&D even longer.

Well, I feel better now that's off my chest
