We will be back Thursday afternoon and I concur with your comments about the Antrim Sector. Excellent service and help Guys and Gals. Interesting morning what with Radar on maintenance,LVP's and WIP on the main drag when LVP's were cancelled.
Will have SSR only for Friday so that will help. A B737 on the 14 DME arc does wonders for your vectoring skills dosen't it

As an aside I did a safety survey on non radar procedures in the TMA a while back and came to the conclusion that they need to be improved and our tech. committee are working on it now.

Cheers

I bet you would like to work alongside Full Length

WA ,
yeah the arc procedure comes interesting close to where you really don`t want it to be. Had to use some headings I hadn`t used in years. If we had SSR life would be, how should I put it, a lot less err exciting!!
Seriously though, surely it must be possible to have a procedure drawn up for us to vector your traffic onto the ILS and handle your departures with direct handovers from the Scots. It would save your guys a lot of work, particularly the ones with no approach rating, and the TMA could operate more or less as normal. After all before Alberts` intervention it was normal for you to do the same for us when we`re procedural.
As for Full Length I am sure we can come to some arrangement, when IS the Christmas do?

The only answer I can give you on this forum is politics I am sure you will be contacted with date, time etc.
BTW there is a topic on Airlines, Airports and Routes about Futura and BHD. I posted my views but before I make a complete a#seho*e of myself, do you think a LEMG bound B734 or B738 could make it out of your place?
Cheers

Surface, we were just thinking the same thing!!

WA I would not like to say it was impossible but it might not be pretty on a warm day. All sorts of charter companys look at us and it has been quite a while since the Futura visit. However being under Spannish ownership now may make somewhere sunny out of the City a bit more likely. I`m still holding out for a job share at Malaga!!
