Fujairah ATCO Vacancies
Hey all, any news of salary and conditions at Fujairah Intl. UAE? would be very interested. Also what is this Emirate like, living and social etc.

Fujairah is VERY quiet.....trafficwise. It is direct hire....which definately has disadvantages.....the package has been improved somewhat but there is still an exodus and some issues still need to be resolved such as loss of license and medical cover.......there is some political animosity between airport management and the satco with the result the satco, who is arabic, is handicapped in he`s endevours. Priorities are not what they should be......and any problems you have with admin, vacation, air tickets etc you will end up resolving them yourself......there is no channel to follow and it can be very frustrating.
The guys left are great....one gal too....social scene is limited but there are 3 places in town for westerners to let their hair down and along the coast are 2 more places for socialising. If it were a serco station it would be very popular and there would be a queue of controllers.

Hi, wondering if you could PM me...I wouldn't mind picking the brain of someone in the mid east about conditions. There is so many rumours that fly around from people that arn't there I try and restrict myself to people in situ.
