Post Tower Visits??

All,

Myself and a friend, both Aerospace engineering undergraduates and both wannabee professional pilots, are very interested in seeing the ATC side of the industry and how things work at a busy airport.

What the the chances of visiting an airport ATC centre by prior arrangement?? I appreciate that you are all busy people and that the work is very serious in nautre, but since we are interested, I thought there would be no harm in asking!

Thanks for your time,

Cuban_8

P.S. We are in the Manchester/Midlands area.

Can't offer anything myself but someone probably will. Failing that you can write to the NATS General Managers at Birmingham and Manchester. They are both reasonable people and would possibly accommodate you.

Wink

Just phone. They can only say "Bog off".
I know that Manchester has a good record of showing visitors around [ number in the phone book]
