Question Next Logical Move?

Anyone else heard this one...

Now that we have Solent, the next progression, logically, would be to go South - Jersey Zone???

Heard it today at work...

The next logical move would be to step back in time and give Hurn Low back to Solent..... or Bournemouth when we had it back in the mists of time (pre 1980).

fair enough...but as we now have Solent, and we are finally in the business of expanding, what about our apparent bid for jersey Zone?Anyone over there got a view?

Thumbs up

JERSEY ZONE! I dont fink so!
The only thing that makes Jersey Airports small profit into a large one is the humongous amount of cash they weedle out of Eurocontrol each year for providing this service.
If this service was threatened I think you'd find the lads & lasses at Jersey fighting you on the beaches.
This apart, what makes you think that LATCC Atco's are capable of handling such an expensive area of airspace without breaking it or nicking parts of it for their own use.

Wink

Give it to Brest ID sector. It's in their FIR really anyway. Then all you Jersey guys (and gals) can come over and be part of Colin's sixty odd controllers (if you're 'ard enough!!!).
