Cool Dublin

I know it's not completely ATCO issue related. BUT,
I'm going to Dublin in a few days and I would really appreciate the feedback.
On the UKATTS website there is a hotel called the 'Belvedere' at a very attractive rate to ATCOs'; Has anyone been there if so what is it like??? Many thanks!
Please don't flame me for not talking shop!
Cheers and Ciao

Stayed at the Belvedere - it's a good hotel, for the price. Depends what you're after - quite adequate for somewhere to stay after a few pints of guiness. About 10 / 15 miutes from the centre of town. Rooms clean, and breakfast is good. Good value for money - go for it !!

I don’t know about the hotel itself, but be very careful in that area of the city. With the exception of Conway’s on Parnell Street, I wouldn’t recommend any of the pubs in the immediate area – including the ones on O’Connell Street. Things get much better once you cross the Liffey (about a ten-minute walk down O’Connell Street from the Belvedere).

Wink

yeah,

good for the money and no complaints, all rooms "done-up" within the last five years.

as for the area, it's just like any UK/Irish city when you're a few minutes from the main drag.
