Post Naturists!

Into LHR this morning off the ocean. Very southerly tracks. We routed in over LND/GIBSO, haven't done that for a while. Heard an American carrier cleared to "nakid" (Took a couple of attempts at the spelling before the kit recognised it).
Great humour, is it a Cornish nudist beach? Who thought that one up?

the happy parent is long lost in the mists of time-however the next point after NAKID is ANNET !!! (therefore obviously your typical atc minded pervert!)

Try the RP website at http://www.nicklocke.co.uk/Points/ though not a lot on Nakid. Annett is an island in the Scillies which probably explains the next along the way.

If you are sad enough you can have hours of fun looking for humorous reporting points. Just around london, for example, there are DELBO, RODNI, BOYSI, FERIT, STOAT, WESUL, but there is alos a fashion now for getting your name in lights if you work in the Ops department. Witness DODSI, UMBUR, CLIPY, ATWEL, for example.

Some suggest that there could be attention-gettig or rude routes available. I have a few ideas but think PPRUNE might object.

eyeinthesky-lets hope FATTY or BENNY don't appear!!!-(although a routing PAT HAT MAC NASTY might be amusing-if you want that explained go to ops and ask for Pat the Hat)

West of Perth there used to be three routes terminating at LARRY, CURLI & MOOWE, replaced by one route terminating at STUGE.

Other good ones, SUBUM, PUGUT, NONAX. Endless fun...

Fly from EHAM to EIDW, and you can read your KOMIK whilst eating your KIPPA, then check your ROLEX to see if you have time for a GINIS

Sorry to be a pedant but I see from my copious notes from 1990 that it was actually GOTTA NAREY BEEVA DORIS as all these 4 weren't allocated by ICAO at the time. But full marks for remembering that one!
