No HD, the newish NATS boss is ex-ALSTOM, remember they needed a £3.5 billion bale-out. They also built the QM2 that needed a major safety re-fit before the paint was dry.
Anyway it would appear that the new chap is placing ALSTOM buddies in NATS top slots, the latest one coming from Paris.
I wish to deny a rumour that the new NATS headquarters site was chosen for its proximity to the main ALSTOM maintenance base at Eastleigh, it is 137 metres closer to Swanwick.
Management is like the busses, there'll be another one along in a minute, the cycle goes "new boss/knighthood/new boss/honour/new boss/knighthood "etc. etc. RGDS.

Whilst not wishing to deny your right to "have a go" at management in such strident terms, might it not be better to hide behind a less obvious user name than your own NATS staff number?

Well, it's always nice to be noticed!!! And, haven't you noticed that 1) my PP contributions have mellowed somewhat over recent years, and 2) I'm not anticipating prolonged continued employment with NATS? It did take management a little longer to determine my identity than by looking in a staff list!!!
