Honey Monster bowing out
After 38¼ years in the job, I am being medically retired (cancer) on 16 June.
To everyone I have met or worked with in that time, it has been a privelege to know you.
I shall greatly miss the cameraderie.

I for one will miss the instructor line going and hearing you say "ok, crash that Speedbird into the control tower and then we'll go clocks off!! " at the end of an emergency exercise on the Aerodrome simulator.
All the best, Reg.

We were sort of around Drayton together a few decades back although our paths didn't really cross.
I pray that you enjoy a long and happy retirement when your current difficulty is overcome.

Its the chuckles you gave when we got caught out and put two together on the apron with the sly "I wrote that" that I'll always recall. It was always a pleasure to have you in the sims Reg, both me and the lady will be thinking of you for the future.
Best Wishes

Reg,
On behalf of 112 course, many thanks and all the best for the future.
Never forget your lessons with the magnetic aircraft shapes and the chuckles you had whenever the word tug was mentioned.
Take care.

Reg, you always kept your students smiling (occasionally groaning but every joke-teller gets that from time to time...), and I hope all your former students posting here will help you to keep smiling come what may.
You have my best wishes, and those of just about everyone who ever passed through the doors of CATC/DAT&S.
