Quick question for DUB ATC
Hi,
Was just wondering do any of you guys know why the rescue helo set down at Donabate, around 6.00-6.30am yesterday morning?
Thinking he was talking to you 'cause he was so near the airport and I think he's based there aswell.
Pretty spectacular stuff watching it circle for a while. Didn't see it touch down 'cause my view was obstructed. But took a quick walk and saw it on the ground. Stayed there for about about 15mins and then departed towards the airport/city. Couldn't see what happened on the ground as my view was obstructed by a wall.
Was quite unusual as it set down right beside a residential area and the noise of that beast is impressive, woke a lot of people up. I quite enjoyed it though
Thought it might have been a medical emergency, but I didn't see any blue lights from fire brigade or ambulance, but there's a lot of construction happening around here, so maybe, but I didn't think they started work till 8ish.
Anyway, hope someone can shed some light on this.
Thanks in advance.
