Submiting FPL's for multiple legs

Hello there,

I am trying to get some clarification regarding the following:

Is it permitted by ICAO to transmit more than one FPL via the AFTN where there are similar legs, as follows; this assumes the flight is using the registration as a callsign, and not an operator. Or should the subesequent legs get held back untill a specified time prior to ETD?

DEP - DES - ETD

EGHH - EGSH - 0800
EGSH - EGHH - 1000

EGHH - EGSH - 1200
EGSH - EGHH - 1400

EGHH - EGSH - 1600
EGSH - EGHH - 1800

Any assistance (or ICAO ref) in this regard will be greatly appreciated.

Edited for clarification.

As long as, according to your Flight Plans, no 2 or more legs will be in the air at the same time then you may transmit them all at once.

Ref: IFPS User Manual (630KB) para 3.3.3

Flight Plan processing software now is able to work out an approximate time for the route itself, so multiple plans using same callsign / same routes are not a problem. You'll find out if you make a mistake with the times because you'll get a rejection back saying that the aircraft is already scheduled to be airborne. (This will also happen if you file the next leg at a time before the previous one was due to finish).
