Selection Tests Practice Papers
Hi.
I have just had through the info that my selection tests are on 7th April in Manchester and I was wondering if people had had any practice papers.
I have applied online so all of my correspondence has been via e-mail, i have downloaded the Motivation test materials from the address they have given me and I have also practiced the aptitude tests on the SHL website address.
However, after reading the forums it appears that other people have been sent example questions through the post on diagramming and spacial awareness etc, I was wondering if this is correct or do they no longer do this?
I have also been on the Tiscali website http://myweb.tiscali.co.uk/radar2001...rces/ATCO1.htm mentioned on this site so it is not as if I don't know what the questions are like but I just wanted to know if anyone else who had applied online had received any other examples of questions through the post.
Thanx

I did my tests last week and am awaiting the results. They don't send practice examples throught the post anymore, I bought an IQ test book and worked through those, not all of them are that relevant, but still quite a few are, I think this is your best bet. The tests were just like the examples on tiscali, except they got a lot harder as you went along. Practice your mental arithmetic and learn the ATC info well.
Good Luck

Caroline,
I took my tests on the 9th March and passed them, the main thing is, take ur time and be accurate with the tests. Don't worry if u don't finish all the questions on the papers, you're not meant to. Make sure u read the ATC booklet, the technical paper does use a lot of stuff out of there.
All in all, good luck with your tests and let us know how u get on!

Caroline, I was there in Manchester on April 7th too!! How did you find it?? I have to say that I feel the practise tests on the testing company's website really lulled me into a false sense of security, I wished they had put some questions on there from the more difficult end of the scale because what they gave us on the website didn't even come close to the general level of difficulty in the real test I feel!!
Anyway good luck with the rest of the process, don't expect to see me at the next stage cos I feel fairly certain I made a total pig's ear of it!! Back to the career drawing board!!!!!
