however if it is I would love to see the numbers because it must have been close!!!

opnot,

If you read my post you'll see that I referred specifically to the AREA units. But I guess it's all irrelevant now seeing the size of the majority in favour.

PS - It's PAID and SWANWICK. Just a correction of your spelling.

I was going to vote against the offer, but after reading the sometimes offensive remarks on this forum....decided that I was entirely justified in going for self interest and voting yes.

Loki...I don't think you are in the minority.

From the look of it a lot of people "gave it large" and said they'd vote no but voted yes knowing it was the best deal they were going to get.

Who want's to be a martyr when it comes to the green stuff?

Last two response are the reason the union are weak. When we have people like this who vote how can you expect the vote to be a true reflection. I think alot of no's became yes's with the threat of the loss of 6.2million and the word of BEC members. I just hope they are true to their word.
