FISO Vacancy - North West

A FISO Vacancy is being advertised at Barton Aerodrome, Manchester. Full training is offered for the licence. Would suit someone who has an interest in ATC.

I.L.S 119.5 , the ATCOs at EGCC couldnt cope with the stress of the busy little airfield

yeah, you're right. 65K + per annum and probably earning more through other sidelines, they don't need it.

I was wondering about Barton's remuneration too, but then, I'm Scottish...

Any 'Tower & Approach' ATCOs or FISOs should be advised, incidentally, that a certain HIAL airfield is quite likely to be VERY short-staffed in the near future... if we all get the jobs we're applying for.

I might meet you on my way out of the door.
As a FISO, I'd be obliged to say, "at your discretion," though.

Be VERY careful.

Yep, minimum wage or maybe slightly higher. But for all you up and coming ATC's it's worth doing for the experience. Get applying, these jobs do not come up often.

Spoke to them on Friday...apparently they sent out letters on Thursday so should get them today hopefully.
