Clacton Changes - 18 March 2004

As many of you know, I am trying to record the history around how reporting points got their names; together with any associated funny stories, folklore or whatever.

The Clacton changes introduce some new points (probably boring Brussels allocations of random letters ..... are they? .... all of them?).

More importantly, some of the older points are about to disappear for ever. So, you Southern types, let's have one last push to capture the information on those that are going.

I haven't finished the 18 March changes yet (the points are done, the routes are not far behind), but what I have so far is here.

If you haven't seen my site before (and therefore might well be wondering what I am on about) try here.

For Info, the locaters are not allocated by Brussels, but by the suits at NATS and at LvlNl and Maastricht {Hey Rene, how about one for me as a retirement present?}

Lon More,

Here since before Pontius was a Pilot or Mortus was a Rigger

Finished at last !

That took a while, but all the information for 18 March is now there.

As always corrections, amplifications and comments are more than welcome.

The main site is here.

Cheers,

Nick
