Getting NOTAMs? (Ireland)

Hi all,

just a quick post as im supposed to be doing a project for college but cant bring myself to do it ...

Can someone please explain to this SPL how to get NOTAMs? I know long term NOTAMs are published in the AIP(to which im a subscriber) but im not sure about getting short-term ones. Ive heard you can get them by fax - is this similar to the way i get TAFs etc. i.e.dial up a number on the fax machine and when promted enter a code? As the title hints to, im from Ireland so if anyone could tell me how to do this i'd appreciate it ...

Anyway ... back to the books ...

Not sure if this is the same thing but the IAA website has an Aeronautical Notices section which might be of use to you..
