Globe callsign
I hear this callsign a lot (JMC??) and it is pronounced defferently in different countries.
The UK say Globe (as in robe)
Spain say Glob (as in blob)
Should the correct pronunciation be Globee (as in Mr Blobby)?

expedite_climb,
There was an airline called JMC
Having problems with its identity.
"JMC - what on earth is that?"
"Its named after the boss's little brat!"
The board had fallen into the trap
of believing what they had wasn't Just More Crap.
So the name was changed to Thomas Cook
In the hope that more passengers would book.
They also needed a callsign to replace
JMC which was now out of place.
One suggested using the callsign "Wayne"
But is was dismissed as being too vain.
The board were all believers
In paying homage to great achievers.
So they all agreed to name it after Mr Blobby
And adopted a new callsign pronounced "Globee"
