I'll be visiting London area in early October and I was wandering are there any airshows going on then?Or is it maybe season finished...?Any other suggestion re. places to see (aviation related,of course) is highly appreciated!

Depends what you mean by 'early' October. Duxford are staging a display on October 12th. If that's too late go there anyway for the Imperial War Museum collection.

If you are going to Duxford and like to see old aeroplanes, drop into Old Warden where you can see an original Bleriot XI and the only flying original WW1 aircraft. Don't know when they will be flying but try having a look here (http://shuttleworth.org)
