Is it just me or is the signage on and about the manoeuvring areas of CYYZ confusing? I have brought it up with the aerodromes people at TC and had one inspector admit that it was NOT to ICAO standards. If that is indeed true, why isn't something done about it? Another case of Toronto being the centre of the universe? :hmm:

It's like one of those 1000 incidents that go unreported or pushed aside like in Helreich's triangle, before a major accident happens. Then something bad happens and when we all play "Monday morning Quarterbacks" we can see the connections.
Hope something's done about it under TC's Rwy Incursion Prevention programme. Something similar happened in CHARLOTTETOWN PE (CYYG) earlier this year. They fixed the signs and everything's fine.
