WestJet just recorded the second highest 2nd quarter profit in it's history. This was the 26th consecutive quater profit.
The efficiencies of the growing B-737-700 fleet and a stronger Cdn $ are keeping the ASM costs going down while AirMiles rewards and LiveTV are helping to fill the planes.
This is a remarkable showing considering the 'Lemming' like pricing by other Canadian domestic Carriers like Jetsgo and Air Canada.
