Hi there,

I'm currently doing some research on the airline industry, and I could do with
an expert opinion. I am interested in the comparison between the Boeing 737-
800 and the Airbus A320. In particular I would like to know how they size up
in terms of cost efficiency. Which is more suited to flying mid range
distances, say from Ireland to the European continent? Also, which plane is more suited
to frequent TOAL's and which is easier to turn around at the gate? Are there
even any significant differences between the two?

Thanks and regards,

Tom.

On the positive side for the Airbus it can take a fair amount of cargo on pallets in the hold which the 73 cannot.

One has a nice roomy cockpit with space for all and sundry, the other you squeeze yourself onto and eat off a tray on your lap.
