I'm going to Cornwall (Nr Saltash) for my summer holiday for the first two weeks of August and would really like to hire an aeroplane and instructor for a couple of hours. I've currently done 15 hours of my PPL.

Does anyone have any suggestions with regards to airfields/flying clubs that I could contact.

Thank you all in advance.

Think you may have to go back across the Tamar Bridge, assuming that's how you arrived, and head for Plymouth Airport(Roborough). Try http://www.eghd.com/ :ok:

Well, I hired a plane and an instructor from Land's End, and that was fun (don't fly right over Goonhilly) but from Saltash it'll be an all-day drive to get there and back.

You can check out a skool in Bodmin too; but recommend EGHD. As the instructors are batty (sorry chaps):p
