Max time on teardrop(offset) leg during entry

Hello,

What is the max time you can be on the 30 degree teardrop(offset) leg during a entry. Lets say you are flying an approach and approaching the ndb at a teardrop entry. You see in the approach plate that it says 1.5 minutes in the racetrack.

do you then? -->

1) Go on the 30 degree teardrop leg for 60 seconds and then parallel the outbound leg for the remaining 30 seconds?

2) Go all 90 seconds on the teardrop (offset) leg before turning inbound?

For a sector 2 entry to a race track procedure, the time on the 30deg offset track shall be limited to 1 minute 30 seconds, after which the pilot is expected to turn to a heading parallel to the outbound track for the remainder of the outbound time.

If the outbound time is 1 minute then the time on the 30 deg offset track shall be 1 minute also.

I have always been taught to fly teardrop procedure for 60 seconds and then regain the outbound TRACK. for the remainder of the time.
If you would follow a 30° offset angle for the whole outbound time, you will go outside the racetrack area.
So:

Overhead time. 30° offset until time 60s and then fly the prescribed track for the remainder of the time (mostly 30s). Keep in mind the wind correction...
