So, GlaxoSmithKline aren't the only ones with a 'payment-for-failure' scheme. I hear that NATS COO, Colin Chisholm, is to take a part-time (3 days) job as Exec Director on the board (at what salary + perks) and is being replaced by Ian (New Dawn) Hall as Ops Director. Who says that the old-boy network is dead?

If only the same applied to students/trainees...

Wonder where Mr Hall's predecessor might turn up next ? Out to help his friends no doubt assisted now by part time Chisholm.

WX man,
believe me the same does apply to those who fail at Heathrow.

It's ALWAYS been the same in NATS. Fail a course, get loads of dosh in extra allowances. Fail to validate, get loads of dosh in transfer payments. Those who make the grade just get shafted!

How right you are. I've got a great idea......Work your tits off, validate 7 months before the "2 year from College to first validation timescale" and don't get paid an ATCO's wage!! Fantastic that:\
Alternatively, sit on your arse, take a lot of leave, ensure that you validate after the 2 year period and then recieve a nice wedge of back pay!!:ugh:
Who is the mug here ????
