This may be rather a simple question, but in general (to transport A/C) is the rotation speed pitch attitude relatively fixed for the type, or is it a function of TO weight and perf data? Or is the VR speed a linked variable to the VR attitude according to TO weight and perf data. Escuse me if its a blindingly obvious one, but I was considering the flap settings as an variable input to VR attitude. Thank you for your time.

In the 747-400 rotation attitude is a function of gross weight and thrust. At a given thrust, attitude is lower (~12 degrees) at max T/O gross weight and higher (~17 deg) at light weight. Using reduced thrust also reduces the rotation attitude for a given weight.
