Hi

I posted on this forum maybe 6 months ago for some info on how academic grades are likely to affect the chances of someone being accepted into NATS. Anyway......

It now looks (being the optimist I am) as though I'll probably get 1 E and 1C/D for my final a-level grades.

I am dead keen on joining NATS and have been since I was a wee lad, only problem is I made completely the wrong decision for subjects and place of study after my GCSE's.

Will my a-levels hinder my chances in any way of being accepted into NATS. AFAIK if you pass the various tests they give you then you're ok.

Any thoughts/comments appreciated.

As far as I remember the only stipulation in the recruitment documentation is that you've studied to exam level - and that condition you clearly meet regardless of your grades. Two of your GCSE passes however, should be in Maths and English.

Other than that there shouldn't be a problem :)

Good luck!
