What license, ratings, hours, etc., are required to instruct CPL trainees at an FTO?

In strict regulatory terms you can give instruction to CPL trainees in the PPL phase of an integrated CPL or ATPL course with only a restricted FI(A) rating, but I'm not sure if any FTOs providing integrated courses employ instructors with as little experience as that.

Northsouth is correct that an FI(R) can instruct during the PPL phase of an Integrated course. For all other instruction towards a CPL (integrated or modular) the instructor must be unrestricted and have at least 500 hrs total and 200 hrs instructional. It's all in LASORS and in JAR-FCL 1 available on the CAA and JAA websites respectively.
