Hello all
Due to lack of holidays available from work.
Has either yourself or your students ever managed to complete and preferably passed the FI course based on weekend and evening tuition. And any advise with this approach would be much appreciated

cheers

It is possible to do the course part time, once the flight test is passed then you have one year to complete the course, full time in my view gives a much higher standard, although many people like yourself cannot give up 5 weeks + to do this. Its a matter of finding an FIC examiner to do the course in segments, they usually work pretty hard and it may be difficult to engage their services at weekends. It can be done though.

Mint - your answer may lie in the hands of "OnTrack" Aviation.

They specialise in FIC work - and, as amany of the staff are current airline Captains, they also specialise in part time courses.

Have a look at On Track Website (http://www.ontrackaviation.com/)

I did mine part time with "On Track" too.

They operate out of Wellesbourne and Kidlington from the PFT flying school bases.

One of the FIC instructors is also a CAA staff man, and is usually available at weekends and some Fridays.
