Was on Big 98 this morning (744) and the captain was fulsome in his praise of LHR ATCs sequencing in 60kt gusts enabling only a short hold. Good to see that the old "blame ATC" culture has a "praise ATC" flipside!

Before we get carried away with this apparent new-found truce between ATC and pilots, remember that Mark said the captain was "fulsome" in his praise. :}

from the Encarta dictionary:
1. excessively complimentary: effusive or fawning to the point of being offensive embarrassed by their fulsome praise
2. lavish: great in amount or intensity
I was actually going for (2).
Please when reading the above substitute "generous", for fulsome. Also don't be so shocked at good news... no wonder the BBC doesn't do any.
