AIR-BRITAIN'S CLASSIC FLY-IN
NORTH WEALD AIRFIELD
21-22 June 2003

Dear PFA Strut Contacts

Air-Britain, the world's leading aviation historians and enthusiasts
association (www.air-britain.com) will again be holding is annual Fly-In
North Weald Airfield over the weekend of 21-22 June 2003 (see
www.air-britainflyin.co.uk).

This year we are marking, as our main theme, the 70th anniversary of the
first flight of the SV4 Stampe and 50th anniversary of the Mooney 20's first
flight. In addition the Aeronca Club of GB and the Miles Aircraft
Collection will be joining us. With our "Classic" title, we would also like
as many aircraft that fall under the "Classic" category (types whose first
flight between was 1946 & 1965) to join us for our event.

Air-Britain would therefore like to offer an open invitation to all your
members to our event. We would particularly like to welcome owners and
operators of the above types and in particular any "Classic" aircraft.
However, we are always pleased to welcome any aircraft and its occupants -
we do not discriminate by age or nationality, either of aircraft or
aviators!

Airborne arrivals are STRICTLY PPR and arrival arrangements must be made in
advance through The Squadron on 01992 524510 after May 19. As there some
constraints associated with the PPR (slot) arrangements on Saturday and
Sunday, we especially welcome arrivals on Friday.

As usual, we and The Squadron will be offering our traditional friendly
hospitality for both days and a number of awards will be given to visiting
aircraft on Sunday. Catering and overnight camping facilities will be
available for those wishing to stay for the weekend.

Our annual Fly-In has established a reputation for being a friendly event
that brings together pilots, enthusiasts and historians to exchange
experiences and knowledge in a relaxed atmosphere. We sincerely hope that
you and your colleagues will be able to join us. I would be grateful if you
could publicise our event to your members.

If you require any further information please visit our web-site
www.air-britainflyin.co.uk or by contacting me on the numbers below.

Many thanks for your cooperation and I hope you and your members can join us
in June.

Yours sincerely,

Phil Kemp
Fly-In Coordinator
