Hi,

Just saw that NAC is advertising it's residential ATPL groundschool course - followed the link & noticed that they are still offering flight training... I was under the impression that the flight training end of the business was closed due to insurance difficulties?

Have they sorted themselves out re insurance or have they just got lethargic website maintenance people?

Was thinking about heading over to them for some flight training until the whole insurance thing developed.

Anyone any clues?

Thanks

NAC had their JAA flight training approval suspended when the **** hit the fan.

The CAA website which list the relevant schools (http://www.caa.co.uk/docs/175/srg_fcl_ApprovedFTOs.pdf) does show that they have been re-instated for Single Engine Piston flying - so you should be OK for PPL, Night and IMC training.

This is being discussed on this thread (http://www.pprune.org/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=82573) in the Wannabes section.

Fishtits and Keygrip,

NAC's approval was temprorarily suspended upon NAC's request. Now that we have sorted out our insurance problems, we requested re-instatement of our approval to conduct JAA flight training in the USA.

Naples Air Center has started JAA PPL, Night and CAA IMC training along with time building. We have also re-applied for our MEP approval and we are hopeful that we will have that in near future.

If anyone has any questions they can email me directly.

Kind Regards,
