I visited them a couple of weeks ago as well as Thames Radar and I'd like to say they're a magnificent bunch and thoroughly professional as well!

Well ... I actually find flying LHR a relief ... rock on guys and gals :ok:
They're a whole lot better than what you find nattering away to the SE and beyond :hmm: ... Call me "tin ears", but if I had a buck/quid/euro for everytime I glanced left and said "Whaaat?" I could probably retire early! :eek:

Not at air traffic anyway!;)
Seriously, if we are talking self promotion, I wasn't aware that there was any. Is there? We just do the job we trained for, to the best of our (sometimes varying - eh Capt. S? :p ) - abilities, and making the most of the resources we have at our disposal.
Surely to be judged as 'good' or not implies comparison with other units, be it UK airfields, TC, LACC, foreign airfields etc, and I don't think we're the ones best suited to make such a comparison.

Could someone tell me what the procedure is for visting LHRs ATC.
Is it very complicated and how can i go about requesting a visit there.
