For all of us White Waltham regulars out there...

There is a new forum on the White Waltham website (http://www.wlac.co.uk). Very under-used at the moment, but I think that's just because it's not been well advertised. So let's get on there and start posting!

Is the new circuit official, FNG? I remember talking to Dave Coe about it in the bar a few months ago, but I thought he shelved it?

I think it was said at the last WLAC Pilots Forum evening that the RH pattern was to be trialled on and off during the year with a view to changing it permanently next year if it proves successful.

I think it also had something to do with the fact that the 07 LH pattern is already published in this year's Pooleys, AFE guides, etc.

Ah, thanks capt - wasn't aware of that.

(Why do they always organise these meetings for nights I'm busy? Trying a night other than Wednesday would be a good start... :))

WLAC have just sent out an email announcing the trial of 07 RH - copies of the new circuit pattern are available from ops, apparently!

I wonder if they will post the news on their own forum? ;)

Looks like you guys don't need to bother with the WLAC forum - you doing it all here on PPruNe!

Even an idle internet geek like me has a limit to the number of fora I can rant and rave on. I'm not sure how much mileage there is in a single airfield forum

Thread:

Walflyer 1: "airfield's a bit muddy this week, isn't it"

Walflyer 2: "not as muddy as last week"

Walflyer 3: "I see the hares are running about a bit"

Walmod: "don't fly over the vicar's house, he's been on the phone again"

Walflyer 4: "airfield's a bit muddy, isn't it"

continued on page 97

Hi FNG

you say """Walflyer 3: "I see the hares are running about a bit"""

Well that is no surprise, it is a "harefield"
:D

Chippy will be ready for that long overdue flight soon.

That is good news Widebod, we should perhaps swap flights on the same day. I have zippo to do at work at the moment, so weekdays can be good.
