Good news. I'm sure much more will follow.

The aircraft destroyed was the same one I flew for my B-747 ATP Rating check
in Sept. 1972. I knew Terry Stacey and many that died. I hope this will lift
the judicial gag order imposed on Terry. They put him through Hell.

One cannot underestimate the impact of what has just transpired in James and
Elizabeth Sanderses' ongoing civil suit against the federal government and
seven named individuals. The case number is federal EDNY, #01-CV-5447 JS.

The United States government has declined to respond to the Sanderses'
summary judgment motion - "Rule 56.1 Statement." Incredibly, by so
declining, U.S. Attorney Kevin Cleary has conceded that the Sanderses' 32
damning charges against his clients cannot be rebutted.

In so conceding, the Justice Department tacitly acknowledges that, yes, the
TWA Flight 800 investigation has been corrupted and, no, we are not prepared
to contest this fact.

In sum, Cleary has thrown in the towel .....................

I must admit, I haven't been following this, but could the US Govts. decision reflect a change of attitude, whereby revealing this tragedy as a terrorist act would suit the current platform?

So to summarize, this chap has been alleging all along that it was a missile attack from an Iraqi sponsored terrorist group ... and the administration have now decided to 'not contest' the claims?

Do I smell a rat here?

Don't believe everything you see. WorldNetDaily has its own agenda - take a look at its website and you'll see that it's not exactly a neutral organisation, nor does the fellow that runs it have an unbiased opinion.

Take it all with a VERY large pinch of salt until you hear from someone who REALLY knows.

Konkordski speaks true and Luke ST's sense of smell has not let him down (although they don't specifically accuse Iraq). Worldnetdaily, in spite of its respectable sounding title, is the home of TWA 800 conspiracy theorists holding, in spite of a total absence of evidence, to the missile theory. Sanders is their main cheerleader. His law suit was some kind of comeback for having been prosecuted for interfering with a federal investigation (the official inquiry) after he persuaded someone on it to secretly pass him a piece of evidence, which is illegal. And if the US Attorney is not responding it does not necessarily mean he thinks Sanders' claim has merit. You can't infer one from the other.

None of this stuff is worth the attention of serious people.

The AD on the fuel pumps is more like the real smoking gun in this saga.
