Hi!
Did a search in the CAA web site but was not able
to find it.
The De-Haviland Twin Otter is considered
single pilot aeroplane (SPA) or multi pilot aeroplane (MPA)?
Cheers,

zeroG,
The twinotter is a SPA. You will have to look it up under:
De Havilland – Canada (Bombardier) DHC6 series
Go to JAR-FCL 1, Appx 1 to 1.220, on page 1-F-11, Table A, Single-engine aeroplanes, 1 Multi-engine turboprop aerplane(land); single-pilot (SP)(A)

Mind you that DHC6 is a SPA by certification, operational requirements might dictate use of 2 pilots. That would allow you to count time in the twotter towards your MPA time.

Yes, that might be the case.
I think you'll find stuff re MPA, SPA and MP Ops several places on PPRUNE, such as here (http://www.pprune.org/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=84397&highlight=jar25)
