I am about to do my first ever sim ride in jet for a job...747 - 200 anybody got any "gen" is it relatively easy to fly any comments, tips , never flown a sim before so I do pick'em!!!!

I have the sim brief sent to me fLAP RETRACTION SCHEDULES ETC... I am coming from a piston background and
now have to put my money where my mouth is so to speak!

Dont overcontrol. Its a heavy aeroplane, point it somewhere and itll go there.

Dont use the rudders.

Know the profiles and numbers inside out, back to front and upside down.

If you can, get a hour in a jet sim beforehand, but dont admit to it.

EAC used to have a 727 sim that i used and that did me the world of good. £200 for a 'generous' hour with an sim engineer.
