Take off procedures at LHR

Am I imagining it or have noise abatement climb procedures been "relaxed" at LHR over the last couple of days? Stuff seems to be going over my house higher and noisier at the moment, and my BD flight to Paris yesterday morning went up like a startled cat....

I'd have thought that sort of info is best kept to onself IMHO.

I think under the present situation and various threats it is best to airborne and get up up and away as fast and as high as possible!

If I was flying an aircraft in and out of Heathrow at the moment I would not be farting around with noise abatement and reduced thrust take off. I would be using max thrust, get to height as soon as possible and get the hell out of there asap. Which it sounds like the people who are flying at Heathrow at the moment are doing!

i also live on flightpath for the mighty LHR, perosnally as a wannabe there is nothin better than a BA 747 rumbling over at 11pm to keep you motivated that you want the guys job who is sitting in the right hand seat!!!:) :)

BA have not changed noise abatement deaprtures at all. We still fly the same profile we did pre 9/11
