Deutsche BA pilots pay talks fail

Just thought I'd flag up that the talks have broken down with the Deutsche BA pilots - the easyJet option exercise is conditional on this, so easyJet Germany looks less likely - at least by this route.

Good luck to the DBA pilots for sticking to their guns, but BA are very keen to get rid of the airline and if easyJet don't decide to take up their option because of the wages of the pilots and/or their work practises perhaps these boys may talk themselves out of a job?:(

Yup, quite possible - BA look as though they may close it down if this doesn't work - let's face it, there aren't many people out there who've got the cash to buy it right now if easyJet don't.
