Hi folks,

I'm planning for a degree in Aviation Management and I heard of RRU. Has any of you ever heard of their MBA program in Aviation Management? If so, how would you qualify it?

Thanks in advance for the info.

To qualify, you have to have enought money to pay the tuition. Seriously, the requirements are pretty thin. There's no need for an undergraduate degree. You are supposed to have 7-10 years work experience, but that is not a requirement.

For further information, see generally http://www.royalroads.ca/Channels/for+learners/divisions+and+schools/school+of+business/graduate+degrees/mba+global+aviation+management/faqs.htm#ten

As an aside, it bugs me that we have so many places offering these (frankly) dubious degrees, usually at high cost. Take a look at the faculty list and you'll see that virtually all are accountants, "consultants", or "entrepreneurs". NOT ONE has any experience in the aviation industry, and none even claim to have any related education.

It's your nickle, but personally I would not waste my time or money. If you want to get an MBA degree, either do a real one at UWO, or (if it must be aviation-related) check out Concordia's program [http://www.johnmolson.concordia.ca/amba/aviationmanagement/index.html], which has at least some industry credibility.
