Hi all, sorry if this has already been brought up, but an American mate of mine is curious how it works if he can fly in Europe on his American license (FAR PPL I think it's called, wouldn't know, I don't fly!) But he wonders if it's possible to convert or sit a test or do a check ride or something for the conversion, if at all possible? He hasn't got the JAA license, ie. the one the Brits go to the US for so they can fly in the UK.
Thanks guys!
LJ
PS: Are my abbrevs correct? Is it JAA or JAR? FAA/FAR?
Cheers!:)
