Hello all,
Are there any crews here who are familiar with this airport ?
I am looking for some recent information about this airport, copies of approach plates would be ideal, but also info over rwy conditions, approach/nav aids, atc, fire, fuel. Maybe there's been an update of the Sudanese AIP ? (Jepessen is very outdated)
Thanx in advance :D

I suggest you also post this thread on the African pages.
Many people from Kenya fly into the Sudan on relief work and I think you will have more success and feedback if its posted there.
cheers

Just found this info -

Nyala
ICAO identifier - HSNL
N1203 E02457
elev. 2101'
rwy 04/22
length 9842'
LCN40

Went there once during a 2-month stint in Sudan in 2001. Memory bit vague but seem to remember a well-maintained runway with decent facilities - one of the few decent airfields in the country.
We no longer operate there but I can try to get hold of some updated info for you if you want.
Cheers
