Hi,

I'm applying to eurocontrol at the moment, and in some parts of the internet site (not others) it asks you to fill in the "Certificate of Visual Performance." Is this necessary for the initial stage of the application. I work a lot and don't want to waste the time going to an optician if I don't have too.

Thanks in advance

Yes, I'm afraid it is necessary, as you will not get called for an interview if they don't have it. Sorry! And good luck!

Thanks for that. Can anybody recommend a ophthalmologist (which is what it says I need) around SW London? Or will a optician be just as good?

Thanks

£17.50 for a standard eyesight test, whatever that may be in Eurobuckets.
Tell your optician it's for a CAA class one medical, and that you'll spend most of your working day staring at a radar screen.
If they find a deficiancy which requires correction, they'll make additional allowances to compensate for the extra starin on the ol' peepers.
