Pilots of US Air 427 background

Not to drag up ancient history but does anybody know the background of the US Air Flight 437 Pilot's - civilian or military.

Captain had completed USAF training in 1973. He had about 900 hours of military flight time mostly in O2´s (Cessna C337 Push & Pull) He had worked for Braniff before being furloughed and later hired by US Air. He had about 12000 hours with 4000 hours in the B737. He had flown DC8´s, BAC111´s and B727´s prior to B737´s

First Officer had strictly GA background. He had worked for Piedmont when US Air purchased the company in 1989. He has around 9000 hours total time with 3600 hours in B737´s
