Hello,
Just a quick question. In a situation where both pilots are captains, does one Captain be Pilot in Command on the outbound journey and then at the destination do you sawp seats so that the other captain can be Pilot In Command and build up his hours of being Captain? Stupid question....so sorry in advance...

It depends on airline policy/regs. Normally, crew administration assigns a PIC for every flight according qualifications and currency requirements. S/he has to occupy the l/h seat. Swapping seats would not be allowed in this case, although if one of them is an instructor, he may be allowed to chose the seat s/he wishes to occupy. Building hours is rarely an issue...
