Can anybody tell me the names of the places / islands
where pilots park their light aircraft next to their houses
and in purpose built hangers so as I can do a search on Airliners.net
This is where I would like to retire to.......

Range from noisy and nasty to absolutely fabulous. Also not uncommon to find some small ones that are probably not listed on these sites, where people have just built close to small private strips.
Of course, you could always buy an amphib and live on the lakefront! ;)
