Although this may seem to be an African Forum thread, many of us European chaps fly there as well.

Apparently there have been several incursions in Kenyan airspace involving Ukrainian registered aircraft flying straight in from the East to Eldoret with no ATC contact, offloading God knows what, then taking off and disappearing East again. One had the gall to fly directly over the Kenyan Air Forces base.

Obviously no 126.9 broadcasts, and one wonders whether the TCAS is either fitted or switched on. Further details can be gleaned from the Kenyan papers. Eyes peeled guys!

Eldoret is a C.A.P.E. or custom avoidance point of entry for all the presidents men especially the minister for crookery and murder, (whose chief accountant is a scouser), aka the bull of auckland, total man. probably carrying hi value goods and the odd defensive item for when they lose the election in a couple of weeks.
In his spare time he runs a BA franchise, but at least its not foxhunting and is politically correct.
Dont worry tho they lock their cockpit doors and dont let relatives fly, oh wait a minute , yes they do, usually as captain.

No sour grapes just an observation, served my time there and i preferred the old eldoret on a stormy afternoon at 9000da in a full baron and a pair of 'getis for radaahhh those were the days.
