The Grumman Owners and Pilots club for AA1’s , 5’s and GA7’s are holding their Annual Xmas Bacon Butty fly-in at Leicester this Sat. 7th Dec. rain date 14th. Anyone who would like to find out more about the aircraft they own, thinking of owning or fly are warmly welcome. The Flying club and Restaurant have been notified of our intentions, but if you are first timers a personal reply would be welcomed so we can amend our attendee estimates for the airfield.

The event on Sat. was officially postponed until the rain date next Sat14th due to low freezing levels. However one intrepid soul managed to fly in and two arrived by car, which goes to show how keen us Grumpy flyers are. Lets hope for better weather next weekend.:(

The Porkies can now relax over the festive season. The annual AYA European (Grumman owners & Pilots) Bacon Butty Fly-In has been cancelled due to the distinct lack of distance and space betwixt the ground and the cloud/rain/misty bits.
In order to stop the bacon butty aficionados snivelling and weeping at this lost culinary opportunity, we shall compensate with an impromptu gathering at CALAIS (LFAC) on the 4th.January 2003. And yes! The porkers are not let off the hook. Far from it. We will order double helpings of gambon sarnies.
All Grumman pilots, friends, and bacon rasher lovers are welcome.
