This may seem like a silly question..actually there are two questions.
1. To any left handed Airbus FO's and any right handed Captains, did you initially find it awkward using the control stick when you began on Airbus?
2. To the FO's who have recently moved to the LHS and are now Captains, was it again awkward using the sidestick with the opposite hand?
Thanks for your replies...

Initially I overcontrolled with good hand, but quickly got the feel. It is not a problem to worry about; very easy to fly.

BTW, this is not something that is particular to Airbus drivers. All pilots will experience this transition... You always have one hand on the throttle(s). Students fly with their left hand, IPs with their right (except in aircraft with dual throttles and "real" sticks"). F/Os have right hand on stick, Cpt left.

I fly the 321 from either side (training etc) and find the stick is quite instinctive from either side.
It's the view out of the windshield that catches you out !!

I like to sit on my hand for a bit before taking control, then it feels like someone else is flying.
