Heard on the grapevine that a Gamston based PA38 came to grief on take off at Netherthorpe in the last week or so.

Aicraft caught fire and a least one of the two occupant was injured.

My commiserations to those concerened - has anyone got details on this accident?

I was there, but wait for the AAIB report and see what they say
about trying to fly a Tomahawk out of Netherthorpe with 2 on board, full of fuel, uphill, on a grass airfield, with nil wind.
