Over on the Microlight eGroup at the moment is a thread claiming that the owner of Mainair (UK's second largest flexwing manufacturer) has sold out to Pegasus (the biggest).

Assuming it's true (and at the moment I'm not in a position to check) this is likely to have a significant impact on the shape of the microlight industry, since the two remaining suppliers of the flexwings - Medway or Flylight are tiny players by comparison. I'd also be concerned if I flew a Mainair machine (which I don't) that one of the biggest reasons for owning Mainair, their superb after-sales service, might deteriorate down to Pegasus levels.

Anybody closer to it and know any more than I do?
